    Russ,can we have this option?
Once again I'm playing one of those guys who act bullish as soon as they gain a good position and turning off the possibility to write messages would avoid me to deal with such pathetic opponents.
Surely this has been requested before but it's time to raise it again....

I must say I'm slightly surprised that The Rude would be running to the admins about in game harrasment.

However the idea itself is a good one.

Indeed I'm not "running to the admins about in game harrasment" (if I wanted to I could have done it privately ,don't you think genius?) I just asked if was possible to have this feature so that I can ignore idiots who send crappy ingame messages because it conditions my play a lot.

You'd also need to be able to block PM's from a player that you have prevented from sending you in-game messages.

Yes,I'd also love to have this option because often the guys who bother with corky in game messages are also the same that flood my inbox with silly PMs.

Wouldn't it be more fun if you could just goad him into landing on the 3c list of removed players?

Or ignore it. Or ask them to stop.

These would be the simple solutions.

Genius, how can you ignore caps lock insults at the top of the chessboard?
When you look at the board your eye will surely stumble across it.

    Ask them to stop?
    Did you ever tried it?
It's like asking a 5 y.o. to not eat the marmalade,he will eat it just because you've told him not to.

    Edit: now I remember you!
You were the guy which repeatedly commented my moves telling "this was wrong, this was better" and I asked you to shut up something like three or four times.
You even dare to post "ask them to stop",for christ's sake!!
