Some site designers should have really put a bit more thought into their company domain names... 😉

Firstly there is "Who Represents?" a database for agencies to the rich and famous:
http://www.whorepresents.com

Second is the Experts Exchange, a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views:
http://www.expertsexchange.com

Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island:
http://www.penisland.net

Need a therapist? Try:
http://www.therapistfinder.com

And there is an Italian Power company:
http://www.powergenitalia.com

Finally we have the Mole Station Native Nursery, based in New South Wales:

Personally, I reckon he's a bit of an idiot but he makes up for it with his dashing good looks!

"Pen island" is a joke website, albeit not a particularly funny one.

I'll give you a genuinly bad named website. Mine.

It's called: The third tower.

It was a spoof on "the two towers" from Lord of the rings, from before the film.
You see, the sub-name of my website is "Minus truffel", to snug in nicely besides Minas Morgul and Minas Tirith.

HOWEVER.
It later became apparant (after re-reading LOTR, I have to admit that it's quite apparant in the book as well, although not quite as apparant as it could have been or I would never have made the mistake) that the towers that are referred to are actually Orthanc and Barad-Ur.

It boggled my little mind for years that nobody seemed to get the joke.

I know. It's bloody dreadful. But all that remains of that website is my photo archive (which is called differently) and abandoned forum.

It's like a ghost town. Silent and scary, lurking the depths of cyber space.

A friend of mine uses the online nick 'Fetu'. She called her blog, 'Fetu's Lantern or, fetuslantern...
