Can anyone suugest a reason why in so many of my games I get this move order rather than the straight 1.d4 d5 2.c4

Examples
Game 6477330
Game 6477308
Game 6421023
Game 6477337

All very recent games!

Do you think they are afraid of the Albin-Counter or the von Hennig-Schara?

I certainly couldn't say for sure, but I have a friend who swears that it's the best move order since it avoids the Albin-Counter (as you suggested). Having said that, I don't think I've seen him play 2. ... e5 himself.

Given my strength and grade, whenever I see 1. c4 and 2. Nf3 it means I'm facing another Colle. Grr.
