Hmm... sure nice to have a flight square, though the threat of forced retreat is hardly imminent - personally I'd avoid playing against threats that haven't materialised yet, and aren't guaranteed to materialise. If black intended to kick out the white bishop by a6 followed by b5, the a3 move could be played after it was clear that this is what black plann ...[text shortened]... rading at c4, I'd be quite happy with the position resulting from that trade! 🙂

Hey Mr. Can Dance. Didn't want to overrun your game.... but this will be a long time to finish.... if only one person is able to make a move in the whole game
I don't think there are 80 users that even visit this forum... So I got another game going that we can watch.
Come back and make a move... as I did in yours!

However, the change in the rules does seem to get burried in the thread, and then people go by the title. 🙁

Should the move be complterly defensive, however, then IMHO, there's hardly reason to go on the defense before it's made necessary by your opponent's actions.

Ng4...on w/ the kingside attack!!
Unfortunately white's knight does not have a legal move that would place it on g4.
Also, please include the move number in each of your moves - it makes following the game easier.
As the proposed move isn't legal, it's white's move, after 13...gxf6
