    Hi SG.

I put them all on open invites.

(I had to put that challenges down to 300 I was getting challenged 10-20
    times a week.)

Going to stop at 50. (fed up creating the challenges.)

The awkward thing I'm finding, (basically I'm playing 50 games at blitz)
is I have so many Latvians on the go and they all at their opening stage
after I sent a move the same position pops up again and I'm thinking I've not
    sent my original move.

So far enjoying every minute of it but have a heavy work load coming up
plus two columns to do and I have to go to Fife for a whole day.

Think I'll post my vacation flag. 🙂 (no I wont'.)

We should have a sweep stake to see what Greenpawns grade is going to be at the end of all this. I'm going for 2134.

1800 I'm bound to slip in a few silly one move deep traps.

Twice (that I know off) I've sent a move and right away I've seen what was
    possibly a better move.

Maybe have to split them into two groups, the blitzers and the move a day crowd
    and think accordingly.

very sorry to hear that you don't want any provos. I signed up to enjoy chess not to experience discrimination. Good luck with your 100 games. I hope you have a more fulfilling life outside chess.

It's fair enough, there are enough cheats out there that it is better to be sure someone is legit (or at least as sure as you can be) once they have a few games under their belt. I have a lower challenge limit of 1201 for exactly the same reason as GP.

Also, if this is the worst discrimination you've faced in your life, consider yourself lucky

I usually discriminate against rude people.
    Now go play with yourself.

    Hi johnnylongwoody

The provo thing has nothing to do with suspcted cheats.

I have an RHP database of over 1.2 million games. nearly 80,000 are
1-4 moves long all time out by provo's who join, play a few moves
    and then quit.

At least if I know I am playing someone who has 20+ games under their belt
I am playing someone who will stay the course.

    It's as simple as that.

    Arghhh!!

    Remember I said this:

"The awkward thing I'm finding, (basically I'm playing 50 games at blitz)
is I have so many Latvians on the go and they all at their opening stage
after I sent a move the same position pops up again and I'm thinking I've not
    sent my original move."

I've cocked my move order in a Latvian. Fatal.
I've obviously thought it was the same game. Brilliant 🙂
I'm a goner. I should resign but I'll plod on for a few more moves.

Edit: I was doing so well. 7-0

Just 2 pawns down and resignation?
    What have I missed?

I'm not sure either, I would have at least thrown all my pieces at the king first

    No.

I sac pawns and pieces on purpose, here I lost them. Not the same thing.
Believe me lads I know what a position with potential looks and that had none.
I can't give him the Rook, he takes the Bishop, so I can't 0-0-0. forget it, it's gone.
It will lighten the game load.

I have plenty of other games to pull out of the fire it would be a sheer waste
of energy and a minor insult to play on, (he is not a blitzer)
not to say depressing seeing it come round again and again.

And if I did spin that one into a win I think I will have used all the luck
chess has stored up for me forever. (and I need some luck, I'm toiling in
    few other games.) 🙂

Anyway here is a reluctant win. Reluctant in the way I did so much NOT want
take that h8 Rook. In the end though seeing loads of cute looking moves
I could see no brillo. Is there one. I've not had time to look at any games.
