And a couple months ago I didnt think I was ever gonna make it past 1300 lol


I got a question for you, who have chessmaster, I can beat the 2000 rated player fequently, and draw the 2100 easily, is my chessmaster messed up? or am I actually that good? lol

IIt seems when you set the lower levels on CM has serious flaws that anyone with half a brain learns to exploit.

I doubt its just the lower levals, my friend can beat chessmaster itself which is rated 2700, and hes not even close to 2700 in real life

If so there should be something wrong with the chessmaster settings or with your friend.............

CM is nowhere near a rating of 2700.

CM the program claims to have a rating of 2700+ or something ridiculous. It's the program that lies not FlyUnity's friend.

That rating is based on it's results in computer chess tournaments. I'd be interested to see how it would fair in a human tournament. Actually, im quite surprised they haven't thought of this already, if CM's company sponsored a GM tournament with a big prize, they could have each GM play it as if it was a real opponent. I doubt it's 2700 strong though, i've drawn against the top non GM profile (Frederic, supposedly 2722). How they recon there is a player that strong who isn't a GM i don't know. 🙄

CM is not even close to 2700, or even 2000. I'm a 1000 USCF and I can draw it pretty easily. However, it is a good program to analyse your games. Fritz is a better program if you want a serious computer opponent.
