Been looking at this off and on for a few days now.

I'm not sure I quite understand the question correctly.

That is the answer I got! Except I thought we weren't meant to post the answers here...

This is probably a FAQ... isn't there a way to hide it ?

You can edit the post and remove the board, I don't think the board itself can be hidden, but if you want to hide text then you can do:
          [HIDDEN] text here [/HIDDEN]

          like so

Except not in capitals, I had to do that so it wouldn't be hidden 🙂

Doh.. it gets worse.. I don't see an edit link on the post with the board

Hmm, I'm sure there was an option to edit only a few days ago, but I can't see it any more. I guess this one will have to stay 🙂
On the bright side, I think it is the right answer!

          Ha.

So that is why. I was looking for a mate on the wrong square!

At least I bumped and up the thread and got a solution out it.
(going to try that ploy next time) 🙂

I got a different answer. Less elegant, but it does the trick.

          1. d3 c5 2. Kd2 Qa5+ 3. b4 Qxa2 4. Kc3 Qxb1 5. h3 Qxb4# 0-1

I don't think that qualifies.. since you need to take a queen on b4

Ahh, of course. That's why I found the answer so quickly, because it was the wrong one! 😳
