White was winning anyway, but his 17th, 18th and 19th moves finished Black off with brutal efficiency. After 17. ... f6 White ignored the attack on his knight to activate his rook first with 18.Rc1 and then 18. ... Qc7 19.Nxd7! was far superior to 19.Qxd7+ because of 19. Nxd7 Qxd7 20. Rc8+ Ke7 21. Bb4+!.
