Khalifman almost offhandedly dismissed this (by quoting a game from 1906?!) and saying white is better,it doesn't look like it to me and I can't find any effective antidote apart from steering into a Giuco Piano which I dont want to do
1.e4 e5
2.Nf3 Bc5!
3.Nxe5 Nc6
4.Nf3 (nxc6 doesn't seem any better)Q e7
5.Nc3 Nf6 (there's huge pressure down the efile)
6.d4 Nxe4
7.Nxe4 Qxe4+
8.Be3 Nb4!
9.dxc5 Nxc2+
10.Kd2 Nxa1
11.Qxa1
dont like the look of this at all ,it doesn't look better for white in my opinion..............anyone seen this before, any thoughts?

I would still rather be white, 2 powerful bishops and black, who is already tempi down will have to use more moves securing safe squares for both king and queen
