Accepting and then deleting games?

I just had 2 of my 4 open invites accepted (by 2 seperate opponents) and then deleted within seconds/minutes of acceptance.

Anyone know what's up with that? Not that it's all that hard to create new invites... I'm just trying to figure out what's going on. 😕

No doubt it is something simple like you say.

It just seemed weird to have 2 out of 4 turn out that way. I mean, why accept if the game conditions are not to your liking?

I have had this happen to me also. I think sometimes they accept the challenge and then when they see the opening you play, they decide to drop out.

IMHO, this is poor manners.

I've heard about people who have an unaccepted open invite waiting to be accepted, who accept other people's invites and then delete them, just so that they are the only open invites on the "Open Invites" page.

Sucks big time, but people are like that.

I suspect that'll happen a lot more now, thanks to your open suggestion.

It has happened to me a few times. I consider it a insult and I will never play a player that is a insult to me.

I have twice accepted an open invite by mistake and then deleted it. In both cases I messaged an apology to the opponent. Deleting the game immediately can be just a simple error from time to time.

Happens to me about 25% of the open invites I post. Don't know why, and those who delete the games right after accepting the challenges have never given a reason why.
