I'd like to give this a try. I have Fritz 11. If anyone is up for a game challenge me to an unrated game. Please call the game advanced for my convenience in case I get more than one challenge. Thanks.

Oh, I'd just like to say, if this is against the rules I apologize profusely, and please disregard or delete this thread.

It's my understanding that computer program movement in any way, shape, or form is against the TOS. In PCT we wanted to have a script program handle responses in Mate in Two problems (instead of a human) but that is not allowed under the TOS.

That's correct. Russ has confirmed that this also goes for unrated games in which both players agree to the engine use.

For the purpose of PCT, it really doesn't seem reasonable to disallow scripts like that. They are not real games or rated. They are purely for training. Also, why shouldn't willing players be allowed to play advanced chess? The whole problem with engine use is that it violates the agreed upon expectations and expressed desires of the players.

Maybe somehow Russ can make a separate category for PCT games that are only available to PCT members and don't show up in the stats?
