    Broadcast in virtual reality 3D!

    https://worldchess.com/2016/09/12/world-championship-match-to-feature-virtual-reality/

That will fix ALL the faults from their previous broadcasts!

    Quote from link:

"The virtual reality broadcast will be available through subscription only. A ticket for the entire championship (up to 12 games) will cost $15. For $45, viewers will also have access to enhanced technology broadcasts of the Grand Prix, which is part of the World Championship cycle; the World Blitz and Rapid Championships; and the 2018 World Championship."

......So they are expecting people to pay for this unnecessary nonsense?

I have to admit that I am curious about this. I am still comparing and contrasting chess to other televised events, and trying to decide what I want and expect.

Chess is already a game in a virtual (totally mental) space; I see no advantage in making it virtually visually 3-D.
