Albin Counter-Gambit

I just finished a short game as Black playing the Albin Counter-Gambit. Do any of you play this opening often and if so, what are your feelings about it. I'd appreciate any comments on how my game. Thanks.

I enjoy playing it as Black, but it's not exactly great for black with best play. It's just barely playable, though, and if you know it very well there's absolutely no reason why you can't play it at the class levels (2000 and under OTB), since it's sharp and you'll almost always know it better than your opponents.

Probably less smart to play it in correspondence, but I do it anyway. 🙂

Your game shows how white can become easily confused. Your opponent was trying to be way too clever and ignored his development. I wonder what the point of h3 was? Anyway, good job focusing on the critical weakness on c2 as well as exploiting whites uncoordinated pieces and exposed king.
