I love the Knight Triangle- though I have heard it called the elastic band, as the knight pings back. I have played it several times here. It is common in the advance variation of French, though you only get a pawn (though it is the advanced one!). This simple version has appeared 352 times on RHP, though only 241 responded with ...Nxe5!

(though the game in the blog was with Black giving the perpetual.
I mentioned it was a 'what could have happened' in a blog a few years back.
It was seven years back!

I often see stuff I had forgotten all about.. In this case I was sure it was more recent than 8 years ago.
Maybe time passes quicker when you get older. I don't know, I've never been older before.
