I play chess for fun and was wondering if people here use the 'analyse board' feature to try different moves before submitting their actual move.
Is this considered cheating?
Wouldn't dream of doing it myself lol!
I never used it myself, most of the time I played my games as if they were OTB games, but if I was playing a particularly difficult opponent (or if I'd managed to get a lousy position against a weaker one!) I'd get a real board and pieces out and analyse on that.

It's clumsy and no good.
Fat Lady sent me a winboard thingy which is perfect.
You load in the game in question - it auto moves to the latest
position. you can watch all your bad go whizzing by.
And it's a real joy to use. Ideal for work or if pushed for time.
Do advise getting pieces out though - nothing can beat the real thing.

I advise anyone get it. It's also great if you have a handwritten PGN or a clip from a magazine or newspaper, you can just type the moves and it will create the game.
