white to move analyse the position and find the best move.
This PGN could not be parsed.
[FEN "r7/pp1kb1p1/4N1np/2P4q/8/1Q6/P5PP/5R1K w"] 1.Qb7 Ke6 2.Qc6 Ke5 3. Re1 {Throws up a king chase and is the most obvious line}
this is quite difficult. this time, white is down in material, so the question 'which is best move' has to be seen more basic - maybe the best move is to get even in material, maybe the best move is mate in two or three...
anyway, Qxb7 looks striking, it seems to win a rook and pawn for a knight...and tempo .
the check by rd1 is tempting, but if blacks exchanges queen for knight and rook, it is still better, i deem...
so, other options are for me oclouded, seem to end in a gul-de-sac. i think i would go for rd1 and after qxd1, qxd1+, kxd6 followed by qb3+, picking up the pawn on b7 and threatening the rook to keep the tempo...
Edit: very nice line, velvet. i think the outcome is much more difficult for black...
