I lost to his previous account. And at the time he beat me his rating was around 1300 due to timeouts.
Why would you cheat online anyway? Why not just play each game to the best of your ability and improve your game with study? Honestly I'm not a strong player. I'm OK with that because I've met my first goal. I wanted to beat consistently the "I know how the pieces move." players. Now I have a new goal. To do well against stronger average players. I'm sure when I reach that goal there will be a new one for me to strive for. If I were using an engine to get a better rating then I'd just be cheating myself out of some really intense games.
Losing sucks. It's very frustrating. Maybe they are skipping that frustration? But when they win do they smile? "Look at me! I'm so clever I forced a fork on his remaining piece oh wait... That wasn't me."
Now real life tournaments I don't condone, but at least I see the reason. MONEY! But even then.. Why bother? Get a job.

I dunno the point of cheating - moving your brains on your own are more interesting. I`m only using sources of data base and opening theory, because main reason of my online chess gaming is to improve my skills of playing some opening schemes, which I wanna to play in OTB.
Che@ts what one thing, to be no. 1 here or at least in the top 10 for the perceived kudos that will bring.
Of course they will get more kudos by being friendly and helpful and well though of rather than as rude, ignorant possible che@ters but che@ts don't realise that. They are insecure sad jerks.

They are rude and uncommunicable, because they are afraiding to show that their knowledges of chess are lower then their results.
Thats my opinion at least.
On the contary someone who posts often, helps in the forums and is posting useful information that displays a reasonable knowledge of chess is probably reasonably good although reasonably good commences about 1700 or even 1600. 1500s also can teach a lot to players rated 1000-1200.
I was so happy to start a game with a 2200+ player.... Game 2911210
Now I have to find a new one... 🙁
