    Yep... 25...a5 was pointless.

    Furthermore there were quite a few questionable moves in that game. I was extremely surprised at the result 😕

    yea, it just gives the useless white bishop more breathing space.

    for Black, i would say just trade off one the Knights, keep the white queenside pawns locked where they are, stick the remaining knight on d3, gg.

    EDIT: actually, let me restate this, a5 doesnt give the bish more breathing space, it gives it any, because it had none before.

    well that makes sense, since a6 is a perfectly reasonable move (halts the white b pawn's advance)
