I had a lot of fun with this game. Anyone want to tell me what I could have done better?

Definitely a half decent game...
I found you played 'computerish' though... very materialistic. Once your e pawn was trapped by the other player, going out of your way to save it could have been dangerous. Good game though, especially with the closed sicilian (I hate it 🙂

pretty exciting game, lots of revealed checks and such. Your opponent seems to have missed a lot of great opportunities to get better positioning and material from you. Looked like white was playing a little behind all game and black never capitalized. Can't believe he missed the N fork twice.

In my opinion the reason you played defense most of the game is because you didn't castle (7. O-O would have left you with several options without having to avoid the pesky checks) and blatantly exposed your king over and over (eg Nb5, allowing Qa5+ which he missed). Nice job coming back and playing solid the rest of the game. No big mistakes I can see after that. Why he resigned, though, seems like a mystery as well. looks like an easy draw bid!
