Anyone for Icelandic Gambit games?

I'm looking to add another less-often-used e4 defense to my rep., to give some variety to the usual alekhine's. The Petroff, which I was considering, seems to have the nasty habit of transposing to truly unfavorable things. (Like the 4 knights. GAD. I HATE that opening.)

Soo... in the vein of Paul's Unsound Gambits (the albin, the smith-morra, the latvian, all of which I love), anyone wanna get some Icelandic Gambit practice in?

What is the Icelandic Gambit and how did it get that name?

1. e4 d5. 2. e.d Nf6. 3.c4 e6. 4. d.c or d4. Center Counter Game Icelandic Gambit. I do not know the history of it.

Are you wanting to play this opening? As White or Black? I do not know this opening, but I may try you with it.
