I would guess that the GMs would play on USCF, FIDE, ICC, WCCF ect. .

I don't know, but there's a guy named Hebert on here, and he strikes me as Canadian GM Hebert, ie: he seems authentic, and so far his play has been backing that up, but it seems like he has little time for RHP so his rating only goes up "gradually". If he is who I think he is, he should be able to beat Ironman.

I am a GM (no really - look at my picture) only on here I play left handed which is why I struggle.

Jean Hebert is a Canadian International Master, and it's nice to see him here. Hopefully RHP will start attracting more established players.

Wasn't there something about Yasser Seirawan having an account here a while ago or was that just nonsense?

Yes, and I beat him in a Petrov. That was my first win against a GM. Of course, the less charitable on the site refuse to believe it was actually Yasser Seirawan, merely because he didn't know the opening we were playing was a Petrov. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well that seals it - it must have been him! I managed to put up a short string of losses against some London GM's at blitz when they were promoting the 'Art of Chess' exhibition at Somerset House. Although I did receive a light round of applause when Daniel King thrashed me - proudest moment of my chess playing history.

i seem to remember a post from Russ confirming it really was YS - seems odd that a GM wouldn't at least be able to recognise a Petroff though...
