The post that was quoted here has been removedYes - In my opinion Scandinavian is much more risky. But i have started to use it in OTB play and i like positions after 1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Qxd5 3.Nc3 Qd6. Its easier to learn main ideas (i prefer system with Nf6 and a6) and you dont need to study so much lines as in Sicilian.
Here is my 3 min game in Scandinavian played about half an hour ago.

I don't like the Caro-Kann Defense (1.e4 c6), but the point is to try to bring white's kingside pawns up too far, then attack some place. Ask User 124624.

I play the Icelandic Gambit (1 e4 d5 2 ed Nf6 3 c4 e6 4 de Be6) and the Portugese Variation ( 1 e4 d5 2 ed Nf6 3 d4 Bg4). Both these variations are recommended by Eric Schiller in his book, "Gambit Opening Repertoire for Black." Against 1 d4, he recommends the Tarrasch Defense (1 d4 d5 2 c4 e6 3 Nc3 [or 3 Nf3] c5.)
