I have been playing the scandinavian openning as black,with mixed results!

I need more attacking opions though!
Any ideas ???

Try the sicilian, it has great tactical struggles that will suit an attacking player!

In my opinion Scandinavian is more agressive (but also more risky) and there are less theoretical lines.

Very true. The sicilian is a very aggressive opening. If you really want wild attacks, check out the dragon variation of the sicilian

I don't like the Caro-Kann Defense (1.e4 c6), but the point is to try to bring white's kingside pawns up too far, then attack some place. Ask User 124624.

the Sicilian Dragon is very aggresive, however if you don't know lots and lots and lots and lots of theory you could end up getting mated in 20 moves.

The problem with playing very sharp aggresive openings they usually entail more theory and therefore lots more study time (e.g. Dragon, Traxler etc.).

I agree with Korch (for once we have very differing views on openings) I think the Scandinavian is actually a good compromise.

i always liked the 3...Qd6 lines.....but then again...i'm 1300 so what the hell do i know right?
