Do you play differently in your tournament games, in order to avoid draws and get a better score? If so, what do you do differently?

the simple....

Advoid (like the plaque} certain endgames.....I.e....ensure your not both left with opisite colour bishops (that tends to be drawn)

Keep the game tactical and sharp....advoid simplifications (unless its to your advantage)

I'll always try to trade queens off, as they're the hardest to prevent from perpetual check.

No, play the game and worry about the results later.

The worst is when you need a draw to capture 1st place and prize and you mood is set to drawing the game and you don't play aggressively or your style and end up losing the game and the money.

Don't worry about the results, they will take care of themselves.
