Beating a computer

I was wondering if there might be any specific strategies to use when playing a puter, aside from thinking a million moves ahead😕

Like many other humans I like to keep a wall of pawns between my pieces and theirs, the computer then does stupid stuff. But the programmers know of this strategy and so they tend to "open" things up to stop humans doing this.

Avoid complicated middle games or at least try not to make the game too complicated, use a longterm stategy, don't try to force anything, try to make more indirect threats and so on..
