What are some of everyone's favorite chess websites out there? I find it a chore to find good, informative sites with no strings or weird programs required, so perhaps a pooling of information.
www.gameknot.com - Another correspondence site; For cheapskates like me, joining multiple sites is a must to maintain an interesting amount of games.
www.chessclub.com/chessfm/ - Amazing free video lectures with GM commentary. They could charge for this.
www.pathguy.com/chess/ChessVar.htm - An inexhaustible amount of java chess variant applets by the truckload. Weak AI, but fun.
www.chessbase.com - Expansive master games database, plus chess newswire.
www.chessgames.com - Another very impressive master games database.
Any other good ones?
