I love this game since it could have gone many different ways!! Game 4689248

    Game 4712217

Pretty good if I say so myself. Just sad I had to lose.

It's a game... that's actually kinda boring, no offense. Scholar and Fools mates are all the same, they cease to amaze me.

I personally like this win which I really didn't deserve until the rook sac near the end. He pretty much bullied me in the opening.

you missed mate a while back 45.Rf6+ and you can figure out the rest on your own as I don't have the time to post all the lines.

    Game 3416971

44.Rf6+ is a winning ending but not an immediate mate. Later 48.Rc5+ is shiny but he doesn't have to take - Kb4 49.Rxb6+? Kxc5

Black was winning on the K-side early but it was tricky.

It is kind of immediate...once the dust settles the king is stuck on the back two ranks and white has a pawn on a side of the board the black king can't get to..and its passed so white just marches it and mate will be in short order..I think its safe to say that from Rf6+ on that mate is forced..and I meant for this to happen on move 45 as on move 44 Rf6 is not even an available move.

How true, but, I guess his way was easier... It's always easier to win with a Q+B vs K than R+R+B vs K

His way was only easier because black accepted his rook sac.

EDIT: and his way wasn't easier.. Rf6+ would lead to a win much sooner and probably mate quite sooner than it needs to be because black probably wouldn't sac his queen for a rook to stave off mate.

Of the games I've played here, I really enjoy this one: Game 3190514

I like to see how my opponent's two minor pieces struggle due to my two central pawns, and how both pawns last just long enough for my rook to clear the way for the passed pawn.

    Game 4563676

    Game 4563408

Those games are against a strong player. One of them is in progress no comment about that one.

I will lose that one on time too since I have 1 hour and 45 minutes left on my clock and I cannot go on vacation today.
