Anybody else use www.bookup.com software? I've been looking into various software (SCID, Winboard, etc.) for PGN viewing and analyzing my games and for reading through my chess books (in bed, vs. at a table with chess set).

It seems like good software, and after getting a couple personal email responses from the developer I couldn't resist actually going for it.

I have the express version and use it mostly for 1. learning openings 2. downloading my blitz games from ICC. They have a professional model, but I have no texperience with that. I like bookup express. It'll keep track of your games automatically, if you play blitz and show novelties or moves that haven't been played before, whether by you or your opponent. The bookup site has a movie demo of how the thing works if you'd care to look at it.

I have found a much better software than bookup:

http://www.chesspositiontrainer.com/

And you know what? It is free!

The developer has been a great guy and has answered all my questions patiently
