Actually I'm pretty embarrassed that I missed Bxd2+. I was expecting a move like Qg3, when Rg7 is natural and good. When Qh4 appeared I played Rg7 without thinking too much.

Ah well, it's not like someone would ever make a post pointing it out... 😲😳

Edit: Here are all of my RHP games with the Fred. I scored 100% with that opening - how bad could it really be?* 😉

Game 3348781
Game 3348704
Game 3349869
Game 3347694
Game 3350303
Game 3350305

*Answer: really bad.

Edit again: Before anyone points it out, yes I did "miss" a mate in one in one of those games, but that was purely for aesthetic reasons.

Boungcloud Attack...haha...nice name. I know if my opponent played that, I'd definitely look up and see what he was smoking....

Do any of your opponents ever play 2.Be2?

Lev Alburt, in his book "Chess openings for black explained" recommends 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Qe7 as a surprise weapon for a rapid chess game.

This opening is completely unorthodox. Can somebody please explain to me how this makes any sense??? Boungcloud opening that is. Thank you to anybody that does.

when i lost that game i was really angry. I was completely disrespected by him when he played that opening. ( He made that game unrated i don't know why)

Not to mention that "with some exceptions" it doesn't matter what you play the first couple moves when you are rated 700 points higher! you don't see me playing garbage against 1000's then bragging about it.

One point of order: the name of my game invite had been "I'll play the Fred - 1.e4 f5 2.exf5 Kf7... " The opening wasn't a surprise.

Like as in artificially? And in that opening for black shown by DawgHaus he held most of his attacks primarily king side, and his king was for the majority on the king side. But as for the Boungcloud, would somebody please explain to me what 2.Ke3 does exactly?

No I meant this for white if black plays 1.e4...f5? 2.exf5...Kf7?

Oh, as in a response to this black opening. That makes an enormous amount of sense now. Thanks man 😀
