I remember playing mirror moves purely because it looked so pretty in one of my early games: Game 1085813
But I chickened out quite early, so it probably doesn't fulfil your criteria.

Have seen a few Black opening traps being used by White when they
deliberately lose a tempo. (usually with an early a3).

Here is the Blackburne Shilling trap in reverse.
