no, in the range up to 2000, there are 32 points at stake per game. If
the starting rate of the players is equal, then it is 16 winning and 16
loosing. But if you are , for instance, 100 behind to start, your win
brings you 20 points, a loss costs you only 12. A draw gives you 4
points. And the reverse for the opponent.
A few more:
50 difference: win +18, loss -14, draw +2
200 difference: win + 24, loss -8 , draw + 8
300 difference: win +27 , loss -5, draw + 11
etc...

Hi Sin, sorry to be a complete anal spelling fiend, and I realise that
English is not your first language, but 'losing' is only ever spelled with
one 'o', as in 'lose' also - I noticed you tend to spell it with two in a
number of posts, so I thought I'd let you know...
