That might work because White might attack it with 2.Rfc1 when 2...Qh7 attacks White's h-pawn. 1...g6 immediately might be worth considering too. I haven't really tried to anaylze it by moving the pieces around on the board. This is just my first impression from looking at it as I do an OTB game. Maybe some one else feels like really analyzing it. I am tired right now.
