I remember walking home from a tournament a few years ago, when I was playing a lot of chess, I crossed a road and there was a person walking across towards me. They would have been an L- SHAPE away from me and I thought: fukme it's a knight!!! and I jumped out of the way. Err mental.
At least you didn't think you were a knight yourself, and jumped in an L-shaped pattern to take him. 😀

Since I started to play chess a few months ago, I also started seeing those knight-patterns everywhere... I haven't jumped out of the way yet, though. But when I am sitting at a meeting, for example, I often notice that two people sit a knight-jump away from each other, and then I might mentally play some chess moves with them as pieces. And then I might suddenly notice that I have no idea what they have been talking about. 😉

Huh? I was to busy looking at the knight patterns in your typing, sorry 🙂. 😛, I think I think about chess to much, not really about like what you said just the game in general.

At which point he would have been arrested for publically "taking" him.

Not that there's anything WRONG with that.

mmm I like it. I've clearly been missing out by only thinking about women, football and beer [in those meetings].
