Surely the software and method we use to detect users on here
can be used to detect OTB cheats.

In the 3rd round of The Hasting Congress played yesterday.

Jack Rudd reports.

"Today's big controversy arose in the game Cherniaev-McPhillips.
Black won, and then white accused black of having cheated.
The complaint was not upheld."

Here is the game.

Got to it Squelch and Blitz and anybody else who is experienced at this stuff.
.
Can you clear the Irish lad's name. (no that it is really in any doubt).
But it would be good to see the results.

Get the results up within the next few days and I'll make sure
all the correct chess correspondents know about it.

"The guys at RHP declare the game sound..." etc etc.

Might as well get some free publicity for the site.

On some other sites cheating is pretty common. I have not noticed any cheating here yet in my games. When you give out ratings there is always some weaky wanting to see his fake rating go up. I guess it feeds their frail ego & low self esteem.
