Can someone teach me to make diagrams

When i post here id like to be able to insert a diagram .
Step 2 id like to be able to make a movable diagram.
Even just a diagram is good for a first step though?

dude you need a program which creates fen diagrams, the all you do is insert the fen values between these two little suffix and prefix



and you diagram shall appear

you can do the same with a pgn



and that's it!

Lol, this is harder than i thought cause every time i put the little suffix and prefix to show NMD i get the diagrams, please someone show him, i cant without making the diagrams themselves!

ok, ill try again, in the text editor where you post you comments, before the fen values, type [fen], in square brackets,

then after you input the fen values type [/fen] after them in the text editor.

do the same with a pgn file, type this at the start, [pgn], in square brackets

and then afterwards type this [/pgn] in the same little text editor that you post messages.

i had to do it in different posts to avoid making a diagram, hopefully this helps, regards Robbie.

You could've just written [fen*]diagram code[/fen] without the *. Same for pgn.

The problem is to make a FEN, right?

Alright, use the FEN-maker provided in RHP:

(1) From the "My games" page click the "New Game" link.
(2) From there click "Set up your own board" at the left at "Set piece games"
(3) You have instrections at the left, and when you have changed the board into what you want, you have your FEN-code below the board.
(4) Mark the FEN-code, copy from there (Ctrl-C), go to where you want to place it and pastit in there (Ctrl-V). Voilà!

Russ, are you there? It's a little un-intuitive, and it lacks some functions (like empty the board and an option for check/non-check against the rules). Please, can you make it more user-frienly?
