Can you watch a Chess DVD on a regular TV?

Just wondering if you can watch those fritztrainer dvd's or foxy chess dvd's on a regular TV with a dvd player or if you need to watch them on a computer with a dvd player?

I don't know anything about the Foxy series, but I would doubt you could pop the Fritztrainer ones into your DVD player. They run within chessbase, and your TV obviously has no way to deal with this. If you have the necessary stuff to hook your computer to your TV to display it this way, you could do it.
