I was sorry to see some posts being censored on the clan forum
do we really have to go there?
and just who the hell does the censoring?
    is it by committee?
    who are we protecting?
    let's not go there please

Perhaps some of us appreciate a higher degree of professionalism than others. Being juvenile is one thing but being grotesquely inflammatory is another. One must keep in mind there are minors on this site, and whatever happened to being decent?

However, this thread shouldn't be in the chess forum but maybe under 'debates' or 'general'. 🙂

    Regards,

    K.T.

most of it is silly fun and not for the high brow chess snob so we don't really need an iron fist. It gets heated at times, but that is the clan forum, it's where the big boys play

"...most of it is silly fun."

It sounds like someone took it all wrong and complained.

The best joke I've seen on here was when [censored] told [censored]
to go and [censored]-[censored]-[censored] and then [censored].

[censored] got all upset and [censored] replied [censored]-[censored].
Then everyone joined in except [censored] who is a bit of a [censored].

Eventually the whole thread was censored. [censored] got a three week ban.

who decides what is proper and what is not?
will the thin skinned speech police always win under the guise of protecting the children?

You seem to be someone who enjoys testing where the limits are. Nothing wrong with that, but you can hardly complain when it is decided you have crossed the line. I would suggest that you are the one with the thin skin. You would be best moving to the forums other than this one which should be about chess
