@Very-Rusty saidOh dear, you mean we cheated ?!?
@moonbus,
I don't think even the two players involved are suppose to talk about the game while it is in progress???

Well, I was asking you that question. Can two players have a conversation that concerns the game they are playing??? ๐
As you are aware I have been playing in the Greeters section and I am sometimes asked why I moved a piece in a certain place. Now some of these players are actually new players to the game. Then we have those who are seasoned players just playing in the Greeters Section because they are new to the site and want to try it out.

@Very-Rusty saidI think we can make an exception for players conversing about their own game during the game. Especially if it is a friendly or coaching game.

I agree with you on that. I wouldn't make the greatest coach as you know but I do know how to develop pieces and do a few openings and form some kind of a game plan...

@Martin; You 're very wrong,I did not consult my son,He came from Brisbane to do with his job,he just watch the game for a short time and he ,I quote in his own words'HE'S USING AI." that's when I offer to the opponent a draw. PLEASE DON'T CONTACT ME ANY MORE.
@Kewpie saidThread 203982 is the other thread
See my comment in the other thread. I think you should apologise for your cheating accusation.
So we have someone consulting their son. That is of course outside assistance and not acceptable.
The son is somehow claiming that the opponent is using AI which is also not aceptable, but probably not so easy to prove. Question would be how the son was sure of the AI use. I remember a lot of discussion several years ago about how to be sure if a chess programm has been used.
@cosmic-energy4 saidSo your son did comment on a game in progress and you took the advice?

@Ponderable; My son did not tell me what to do,he looked at the position and made this coment ' I think he uses AI.' and he left. after about 10 minutes of analysing the game I decided to offer a draw and my opponent accepted and that was it.
@cosmic-energy4 saidI don’t think you cheat, but do think it’s an issue here with egos and in the name of getting better combined with the slow games.
