If you have a favorite cheap cheesy Checkmate please share it.

Playing the Qd6 Scandinavian, I get the option to go for this one often enough, perhaps I should more often.

I don't know how to show game boards but I like...

    Old Steinitz Defense
    1 e4 e5
    2 Nf3 Nc6
    3 Bb5 d6
    4 0-0 Bg4
    5 h3 h5
    6 pxB? pxp
And blacks queen goes to the h file for a quick win if white moves the knight.

Not sure without checking but I think it's "get fen " and then paste it in.
It's explained in faq I believe

    The good old "fishing pole"!

However, I've seen that knight hang on g4 for about 20 moves when white knows the trap...

    I love that variation.
If white knows the trap black can still get active queen play to f6 or h6 or h6 and other ideas too.
The first time I went over an Old Steinitz Defence game it was black setting tricks and traps with every move.
It's been my favourite ever since.
    Unfortunately I don't remember the exact game/players.

I used to play 3. Bc4 after the Philador specifically in the hope of this:

The 9. Nxb5?? was bad enough, but I am actually disappointed that my opponent didn't punish me with 15. ..Bb4+
