Chess Behind Closed Doors

Picked up a 2nd hand digital/video camera yesterday thought I'd give it a try out.

It's only 1 minute long and is pretty naff but I really wanted to see
if my youtube account was still working. (and try out the camera.)

Still working on a youtube clip for the blog. Should have it posted
tomorrow night. (giving myself a deadline gees me up.)

I don't like doing the screen grab from Chessbase or any other program,
it is too limited. It's what everyone else does. I try to be different.

So each screen is copied and saved and then played back through a
slide show which moves along a key press at a time.
The knack is saving them in the right order.
The Blog one so far has 130 pictures.

What the world needs is a bog standrd PGN player that allows you
to add flashing squares, arrows and other gizmo gadgets like being able
to display picutres/cartoons inbetween the game.

What opening am I playing in that vid?

The link seems OK, other are getting it.

That is my son's room, it's a spare room at the moment, but he'll be back.
I should have put a teddy bear on the pillow and told him bedroom was on youtube.
That would have been a laugh.

I was going to film it in the kitchen like Phlabbs but Mrs GP would not allow me.

I was very excited when you picked up your b pawn, but was very disappointed when you decided against it.
