I'm sure this has probably been posted before but hey,

I'm after a chess book, i already have "logical chess move by move" but i want one which has mating problems and the like in. Also one i can read without a board and half and hour to spare to go over a game. So far i have seen "the mammoth book of chess" but don't know where is best to look.

Any advice much welcome...

Well I have the Mammoth Book of Chess...any good bookshop should be OK.

If that fails, all I can suggest is you try an online store (amazon.com or something like that)

I apologise if this advice is of no use to you.

Skims.

Lazlo Polgar's "5334 chess problems and combinations". If you want a nice variety of mate problems where you can continually challenge yourself, this the book. No need for a board either. Nicely printed diagrams for your conveneince. Enjoy.
