I'm doing a little research into chess books and would be eternally grateful if anyone could help me out with a little info.

What I'd love is :

A list of what chess books you own.

Your approximate playing strength ( RHP rating is fine, though a national or other rating would be preferable ).

And the kind of player the you think each book is aimed at ( either by rating or category - beginner, novice, advanced etc. )

Oh, and what you thought of the book too.

Once again, I'd be most grateful for any help.

Cheers

Covers about everything you ask - you can look up their grades
on their profiles.

If you want a list of every chess book I own then I'll reply
next year and you will owe me a new keyboard.

(I've read/studed cover to cover about 20 in 35 years of playing).

Hmmmm.....less than 20.

That's so true!

I've owned hundreds of chess books over the 20 years I've been playing. I reckon I've deep down really studied the guts out of one of them.

Which was...?

It's easy to go over board on buying books when you desire what's promised on the cover. Some
end up like Imelda Marcos with her shoes...more than you can ever read and new books gathering
dust unread.
