I don't know. Do you need capability for more than one time control, or do you need a delay feature? If so, then this clock isn't for you, since it doesn't have either feature.

The Easy Plus Game Timer does have a delay feature, but neither the Easy Game Timer nor the Easy Plus Game Timer has multiple time control capability. (On the DGT web site (link below), you can read a pdf of the manuals and features.)

BTW, I haven't actually used one of these yet, so I can't comment on the quality or user friendliness of the clock.

If you want to go high end (i.e. spend more than a $100), Chronos is the way to go. If you want a fully functional digital (delay feature + over 90 presets) for less than half that price, I have and highly recommend the Excalibur GameTime II, which you can get for $35-40. A review of it is at http://www.thechesspiece.com/reviewgametime.htm

One place you can pick it up is here: http://www.wholesalechess.com/store/chess_clocks

Good advice from No1.

I also have the Excalibur GameTime II, and I'm happy with it. (Although I recognize that the Chronos is getting more popular.)

To irontigran, if you want more opinions on various clocks other than the DGT that you linked to, here's a link to a USCF forum where they had a rather long discussion on the subject:

I agree. I got a Chronos and love it. I went for the push button version. I prefer the sensation of a button going down. We'll see if I feel the same way if an over zealous opponent ever breaks one of the buttons.

Wholesale chess was the cheapest place I found. They have a pretty good selection of clocks.

Yes Chronos is wicked. I already have a digital chess clock from Saitek but want to get the Chronos anyway.
