Hi,

I'm new at chess, so I'd like to know of good e-books on learning how to play chess. Preferably, e-books that cover the opening, middle and end game all together.

Can anyone please give me a couple of tips on good e-books??

Thanks.

You joined 2 years ago, don't you think you would've learned something by then?

I don't know about ebooks, I purchased Chessmaster 10th (awesome tutorials, better than books for 1200-1300 players) and Silman endgame course.

Then, Logical chess by Irnev Chernev, probably the best book you can run into at your level. Covers EVERY move in the game, as you wanted.

All this things you can buy, or you can er... search for eMule instead of eBooks 😛

Logical Chess by Chernev is good, as ivan2908 has pointed out.

There are many good teaching sites online and they are free.

There are links to anything ya need there...all kinds of crap. Plus if you don't have a database they have the link to the Pitt site...which I use alot.

Isn't your signature, "I drank what?" the punchline to the setup line, "What were Socrates last words?"
