You can only get a 'GM rating' by playing against real GMs.
How many GMs has it played?
Even the top bots wouldn't be seen dead playng against it.
You should get out more.
According to the Lokasoft website:
WChess received world-wide attention after it scored 5 out of 6 against some of the strongest American grandmasters in the Intel Harvard Cup Man v Machine tournament held in October 1994. The program consolidated its position as one of the top micro-computer chess programs by winning the 1994 Uniform Platform Computer Chess Tournament held in London.

1994 was 11years ago.
That's SIX generations ago, according to Moore's Law.
I guess that means it belongs on the list of fossilized bots.
Last night I played against KillerQueen (also missing from the list). When I blundered away a pawn, it spent ten minutes on its next move (waiting until it was under one minute. It ground me down to a simpler queen and pawn endgame with it ahead two pawns. Alas, the beast had fewer than five seconds remaining, so it repeated the position with checks and claimed the draw.
Originally posted by THUDandBLUNDERIt drew a tourney matchup against Karpov, but I guess you are good enough to beat Karpov, right? 🙄
