I was not going to touch this as it’s popping up everywhere but
I found a Red Hot Pawn game with the same pattern and idea.

Someone, possibly Rudolf Spielmann, once said of Alekhine words to the effect of: "I understand all his combinations perfectly and could execute them myself. It's how he gets into a position to be able to launch them I don't understand."
It was a bit like that with the Carlsen game. I watched Eric Rosen's video on it, and admittedly it was flagged by knowing there was a queen sacrifice, Rosen talking about stopping the King escape, and him saying: "This is the last move.", but even so I saw it in about 1/4 of a second. The problem is I'd never have played 12. c4, so after the knight's taken the pawn falls and the sacrifice isn't on...
