Do any of you have any experience with this program or know anyone who does? What are your thoughts? I'm considering buying it.
The advertisement says: "This program is a sequel to the popular Chess Tactics for Beginners. It is a Windows based chess tactics testing and training program for intermediate players rated from 1400-2000. Among the topics there are mating combinations, pinning combinations, decoying, blockade, exchange, etc. The exercises are arranged into 19 sections according to their level of difficulty. More than 1,170 tactical problems."
Thanks.

Read this site first: http://www.chesstactics.org/
And then do some of the 23,000 tactics on this site: http://chess.emrald.net/

I do not have that CD, but if you have Chessbase, or even Chessbase Light (free download), you can do a lot with the collections at http://www.uni-klu.ac.at/~gossimit/c/tactic.htm. I also highly recommend Claude Kaber's tactical exercises, which you can download from http://webplaza.pt.lu/public/ckaber/Chess.htm#Chess%20training.
