Hello everyone,
I just ended programming a new chess trivia game featuring many quizzes on chess history and players.
You can freely download it from
http://radillon.tripod.com/games.html
In the game you'll be asked 30 questions and get a sort of knowledge rating in Elo points, of course the aim of the game is to get the highest possible rating (while learning something new about our favourite game history and players) 🙂
I'd be very happy to hear some feedback!
All best!

Needs more variety in questions and to be better at randomizing which you are asked (there seemed to be patterns). Less concentration on obscure history and more on modern day players or chess itself. Make the computer randomise the order the answers appear (so a given question isn't always answered with C say).
Thanks for the comments and insights (and congratulation for getting a 2609 rating!).
The idea of randomizing also the answers is very good, I'll think about it. The focus on chess history instead was a planned choice: I think most young players know many things about modern tournaments and players so I wanted to tell something about the old masters, chess events and anecdotes that probably is unknown to most of them.... anyway in the bigger database there are also more "modern" quizzes and I'll surely add more in future.
All best,
Rob
