I used to work a t a chess school. I ahve some time right now if you would like the help. Annotating a game means you play a game and you send it to him and he goes through it pointing out the mistakes you made and the ones you did well.

Right now I have no slot open. Thanks for the interest though. Can I check with you later?

Oh and how can you tell if someone made a mistake. I know soemtimes its obvious but what about others times wheere they are thinking three or four moves ahead and one of their plans gets blocked. That might look like a mistake, but is it?

A way you find a mistake in a game that has already been played is if you find a move that didn't work out the way it was planned. They can be obvious moves that happen immediately or they can be a move that will affect you 3,4 or even 10 moves later in the game. Hopefully that answers your question.
