Is the "Lite version" any good? I get the impression from the website that the functionallity is severely limited. Oh, and not in terms of database size.
Is it possible to edit pgn-files in the Lite version? Export genuine pgn-files?
Originally posted by sydsadDoes anything run under Vista? I haven't a clue, I won't be installing it until I am convinced it will run and everything I want will run on it! I don't know if scid will read cbv files either. You could always download it and try it, being as it's free!
Does "scid" run properly under Vista? Does it read cbv-files?
Originally posted by sydsadNope, Scid doesn't read CBV files, only PGN and EPD. But that's not surprising, since CBV is a proprietary file format created by Chessbase. PGN is the open source standard. CBV files can always be converted to PGN files in Chessbase programs, then exported to Scid as PGN files.
Does it read cbv-files?
